With a skip, you would have to wait until the skip bin company has time to come and take away your first skip and then return it after they empty it. If someone else has booked your skip after you, you could be waiting weeks for a second skip bin.
With CROC BAGS, you will lose zero time!
No time constraints, take as long as you want to fill it, a day, a week or years. It’s no problem.
You can have multiple bags left around your property.
This will save the back and forth walking that is required by a skip bin. You can even put it over a fence or in a garage (see bag placement requirements).
With skip bins they are delivered to one spot and have to stay in that one spot until picked up. Due to skip bins being made from heavy metal, skip bins can damage your driveway or nature strip.
That’s the same as…
You can place the bag over a fence, again though it must be within 4 metres from where the truck parks. If lifting over a fence, it is important to stick to the 600kg weight limit. Over weight bags will not be able to lift over a fence. We will also need access inside the fence on the day of pick up, so that we can hook up the bag.
If we need to drag your bag from any location if it is not in the correct position, you will need to understand this may cause scrape marks or damage to the surface the bag is dragged across. You will need to complete the “Happy for Blue Croc to drag our CROC BAG “ document before we can move it.
CROC BAG Truck Clearance
We require a 3 metre wide access, and a minimum of 3.8 metre high clearance for laneways, alley ways, and driveways for our trucks to drive down.
If you require us to drive down a narrow driveway or lane to access your bag, please measure and ensure there is at least a 3 metre wide clearance as well as the 3.8 metre height clearance.
Please take note of any obstacles that may encroach on that 3 metre wide clearance such as water and gas metres, or pipes running out from a wall.

*Please note all standard and green waste bags have a weight limit of 600kg, we find the majority of bags are under 600kg. If your bag weighs more than 600kg you may be charged $165 extra per ton over the limit. If your bag is over weight it may mean we are unable to remove the bag. If you think your bag will weigh more please phone 1300 71 81 92 to discuss.
*Bags shouldn’t be left out in the elements for more than 6 months as the bag can begin to deteriorate, and BLUE CROC can’t guarantee the safety of the bag, if so a new bag will have to be purchased before we can safely pick up your bag.

Collection
Most bags are dropped off and picked up within 3 working days of purchase / booking of pick up. If you require a quicker drop off or pick up please, contact us about this.
Cancellation
If you would like to cancel a drop off or pick up, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to the arranged drop off or pick up. Failing to do so, may result in a re-booking fee of $99.

Payment
You will need to have paid for the pick up or let us know that you will make payment when the truck arrives, before your CROC BAG will be booked in to be picked up.

Where can I put my Croc Bag? (click to open)
The bag can be placed anywhere on your property that our trucks can access, the bags are designed so that you can move them around your property but keeping mind not to over fill it at the start or you won’t be able to move it. Where ever the bag ends it must be at most 4 metres away from where our trucks can park and have clear path with no obstruction in the crane’s way. Please keep in mind there can’t be any over hanging powerline or trees. If your still not sure please feel free to give us a call to discuss any further requirements
How long can I keep the bag? (click to open)
The croc bag is yours after purchasing, keep it for as long as you like, once you have filled your bag and are ready for collection give us a call or book online.
Do I get the bag back? (click to open)
No unfortunately, since we don’t know what you and your bag will get up to, we cannot guarantee the structural integrity of the bag, the croc bags designed and tested for single trip use only. We take it way and recycle it along with the rest of your waste.

Unfortunately, we can’t service all areas on our regular routes, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come and collect it, please give us call to discuss your requirements.
Can I take the bag to the tip myself? (click to open)
Yes, you can take the bag to the tip yourself. However please keep in mind of tip fee’s, please contact your local tip for pricing information.
How long will it take for my bag to arrive after purchase? (click to open)
Your Blue Croc bag will be delivered within 24-48hrs, it may take an extra day if it is in Melbourne’s Western suburbs. Feel free to call if your bag hasn’t arrived.
How long will it take for my bag to be collected? (click to open)
Once the you have booked a collection. We aim to collect your bag within 1-3 business days. For example, if you contacted us on Monday, your croc bag could be collected on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. However, delays do happen from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances, if you require an urgent collection be call us to see what arrangement we can make.
Can I put a mattress in the bag? (click to open)
Yes, we do accept mattress’s but please keep in mind that the rubbish can not exceed the top of the bag, so if your mattress is to big you will have to cut it down.
The weight limit is 600kg, how do I know how much 600kg is? (click to open)
600kg is the equivalent to 600 jugs of 1lite milk, 206 standard bricks, or 3, 11-foot adult male crocodiles.
What happens if you go over the weight limit? (click to open)
If your bag is over the weight limit our driver might not be able to collect it, if our driver can’t collect due to the weight, your collection will be canceled and you will be charged a trip fee.
All bags that are collected that have been found to be overweight will be charged an additional fee in accordance to its weight at time of collection. This will need to be settled before collection can be made. For a full list of overweight charges please click here
Bags that weigh over 600kg will need to be placed within 1 meter of where the truck can park. If you think your bag will weigh more then 600kg please contact us to discuss options.
Can more then one bag be picked up at a time? (click to open)
Yes, so long as you schedule a collection for more than one bag, if we come to collect and you have more than the scheduled amount, if we have room on the truck we can collect at the same time. payment for the other bags will need to be settled before we can take it away. If we don’t have room on the truck unfortunately another collection time will need to be arranged.
Can I leave my bag outside? (click to open)
The Croc bag can be left out doors, the bag is designed to let water and other liquids seep out, however if you have materials in the bag that are absorbent it can become heavier and we may not be able to collect it. We recommend putting a tarp over your bag to keep it dry.
Also please keep in mind the Croc bag isn’t designed to be kept outside in the elements over long periods of time. We recommend not opening the bag and putting it outside until you are ready to fill it.
